The Music Source began in 1989 as a mail-order double reed business which means we've been in business for 30 years! In 2020, we bought Trevco-Varner Music, "The World's Foremost Purveyor of Sheet Music for Double Reeds and Chamber Music".
Both companies operate separately and have their own websites.
Nick Ober will be with us from Midwest Musical Imports (MMI), based in Minneapolis, MN. MMI is a large dealer for woodwinds and one of the largest double reed retailers in the US. The bassoon department in particular has an unmatched range of brands, meaning you're more likely to find the bassoon of your dreams with MMI!
